Friday September 26, 2014 - Happenings
This morning my cousin Ashley and I met up to go to Zumba together at a church building in Provo. It was so fun to have her come with me! Then upon coming home I finished up going through and editing newborn pictures for my friend Jeri and also maternity pictures for my friend Nora. I love creating something amazing with the talents I have been given. It is incredible rewarding, and even more so that others can benefit.
This evening we had a "Hot Date" (as we tell our kids). It was wonderful to go out just the 2 of us. It was a wonderful night full of getting things done, tasty food, service, and being together.
Our evening went in a series of events as follows:
*Drop off pictures to Nora
*Get burgers at In-And-Out
*Drop off some books at the library
*Deliver Jeri's Pictures (has started to rain)
*Going to grab a few groceries at Winco, but gave an older woman a ride home
who was going to walk a few miles home with her groceries. She only spoke Spanish
and was so pleased to talk to Danny.
*Bought new computer speakers at Radio Shack (ours have slowly been burning out)
with some of Danny's birthday money. We also got a small portable speaker for the laptop.
It is cute and purple!
*Go to Chilies To-Go to get a Chocolate Molten Cake for dessert
*Go home and watch Clash of the Titans while eating our delicious dessert
A very full and fulfilling day

Today was another full day. This morning I our friends the Barbers came with me to see on a larger scale what we are doing, to see if it is something they would like to do with us. We had some incredible training and was all in all a great start to the day.
Later in the day our dear babysitter Kalya came over to be with the kids while Danny was a work and while I went to go try-out for a new LDS Hymns CD. It was an incredible experience. I had been wrestling all day with which Hymn I should try out with and even when I was in the parking lot going through a few again I couldn't decide. I finally decided on the final verse of Where Can I Turn For Peace, a song that just kept coming back to me and has been on my mind. Before going in I told Heavenly Father that it didn't matter to me if I got the part or not, that if it was or wasn't to be I would be understanding that either would be for my good. And I asked that either way it went, that I could just feel good about the way my audition went, that I wouldn't regret any part, thinking of how I could have done better.
I feel that my prayer was answered.
When I got home Kayla and the kids were outside dancing in the rain, which just made my heart so happy. When taking her home I reminded her about the Women's Conference and invited her to come with me saying I would pick her up. She agreed and later in the evening, after eating pizza with the kids and getting them settled in with another friend of ours, went to the Women's Conference. It was such a blessing to be there. Afterwards, the Barbers came over to go over several questions they had, a whole list, which I loved. Then Danny came home and they asked him some more. I am excited to help them whichever way they decide.
I am so grateful to the many helping hands to were with my kids this crazy day.
They love having friends come over, but it is hard to be gone from them so much.
How I love my kids.
