Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day all the Dad's got a Candy Bow Tie and a fun "Daddy Quote" card. All the Dad's especially loved the funny card. (Made by yours truly and the rest of the Relief Society Presidency.)

We had Beef Stroganoff, Rolls, Squash, and Beans for dinner. All delicious! Then I gathered up the kids to wrap our presents for Daddy. He got a hat, a movie (Walk the Line...a favorite of his), Leches(pronounced Leeches...he had a version of them on his mission), and a new fruit to try: Dragon Fruit. Joey and Lydia had so much fun giving presents to Daddy and just wanted to keep going.

Waiting so patiently so Mom can take a picture

Can't contain the excitement!

What the heck?

Crazy Fruit

We had to get a picture with Daddy of course...which always leads to tickling. So begins the Giggle Fest.

How we love our Daddy!!!

EASTER

For Easter we headed off to the Zabriskie Household where a family party was going on. We had Ham and Turkey and all sorts of other dishes. We also watched 2 short videos on Christ and read what Christ did the week before he died and was resurrected. Very neat and interesting. A Wonderful Easter.

The Day Before Easter.

On Saturday Morning before Easter...we woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had come to our house. He left a trail of Jelly Beans for Joey and Lydia to follow and even left a bucket for collecting. What a smart Bunny.

Busting with excitement....but holding each other back so I could get a picture

I didn't even have to say anything...they just started collecting and following the correct trail. Cool.

Getting the hang of the game

"The Easter Bunny jumped up on here!"

The end of Lydia's trail

Joey's trail led him under the table

The end of Joey's trail....took him a while to get it since the door was closed. He was so confused, wondering where his prize was. We talked through it.

Look what the Easter Bunny brought

So Pleased!!

Yummy Goodies

Lydia swaying while she sings...so cool that the mics light up

Later in the Day the kids and I went to Maceys Grocery Store and while we were checking out our cashier pointed out that the Easter Bunny was THERE! The kids ran over to give the Bunny a hug and of course get a piece of candy. Awesome! They were very excited. THEN we went outside where Maceys was selling a lunch of Hot Dogs, Chips, and Root Beer all for just 25 cents per person. We bought all of us some lunch and went home to share with Daddy and tell him all about our eventful trip to the grocery store. What a fun day!
