Just a stranger
He seemed an ordinary man
To look upon him there’s no way that you could understand
What he did for you and me
Anything but ordinary
Just a stranger
Walking on the road to Galilee
Stretching forth his hand, the sick were healed, the blind could see
He reached out a hand to all mankind
That through his plan we all could find – that we are
Anything but ordinary
Just a stranger
Reaching out a hand to those in danger
Of listening but not hearing
And those who look but do not see
But this stranger
Can heal your broken heart and soul and make you whole again
If you’ll open your heart and let him in
How could this stranger
Feed the multitude with little bread
Make the lame to walk, confound the wise and raise the dead
What he did in Galilee
And what he’ll do for you and me
Is anything but ordinary
Just a stranger
Reaching out a hand to those in danger
Of listening but not hearing
And those who look but do not see
But this stranger
Can heal your broken heart and soul and make you whole again

If you’ll just believe you’ll see
Then he’ll no longer be
