Lydia's 1st Birthday

We decided to celebrate Lydia's birthday while we were in Idaho a couple weeks ago. I hadn't planned on it so it was kind of spur of the moment, but it all turned out great! Jill came with Grandma and Grandpa Prigmore (or Great for Lydia) and since her birthday is the day after Lydia's we sorta celebrated her's too. Jill and Lyida were buddies and stayed close to each other the whole time. Lydia didn't know what to make of having her own cupcake. At first she just poked her finger in the frosting, and gradually she became more and more estatic. Then ice cream entered the picture...a whole other level. Joey helped her blow out her candle...he was happy to do it.

After eating cake and ice cream, Lydia opended her presents. Joey and Skyelar were very helpful and Lydia wasn't too possesive until they were open and she finally had her OWN stuff. Although, the balloons were what held her attention. She got pajamas, outfits, shoes, a baby, shopping money, fluff tutu, cugely pillow (owl), purse (since she is always going through momma's), and stuff to put in her purse (necklaces and books). She also got some ring pops which Lydia, Skye, and Joey all enjoyed throughly.

Not so sure....but is really cute on .

This is the toy Lydia got from my family. She is VERY protective of it....especially when Daddy first got it put together. If Joey even looked at it she would freak out. About 2 days after walking with it (more dragging it behind her) she started walking. Fantastic!
